 Process for My First Image:

I first started with a variety of planet images that I found online. I pasted them all into Photoshop on a single background. 

I then began to change the size and positions of the planets in order to make them overlap each other to create an interesting perspective. 

I continued adjusting the planets until I was satisfied with the result.

Process for My Second Image:

I started this piece by creating a galaxy background. I used the brush tool and a bunch of purple and blue colors, and then blurred them all together to create the cosmic, galaxy effect. I then used the pencil tool to create white stars of varying sizes. 

I wanted my piece to revolve around the fantasy idea of an outer space beach, so I found a retro image of a beach online. I then used the polygonal lasso tool to carefully remove the background of the beach.

I placed the image of the beach on top of the galaxy background I created. 

To finish my piece I added planets in the background behind the beach layer.
