Artist research- Felix Colgrave
Felix Colgrave is an Australian digital animator who uses Aftereffects to animate short films. He also composes most if not all of the music in his films. His current most viewed video on Youtube is his 9:47 minute long animated film DOUBLE KING, a film about love and regicide. It is currently sitting on over 51 million views. The film features incredibly clean and smooth animation, as well as many advanced sequences. Colgrave's animation style pushes the limits of what digital can do, taking full advantage of its features and using them to create something beautifully fascinating. Some of his other films include Throat Notes, Nylons, and the Elephant's garden. The latter of which is critically acclaimed.
