Week 3_Project2_Hildenbrand

 The artist that fascinated me the most off of this site was Jamie Ruas. He has been working with printmaking, stamping, and engraving since 1997. Using the scanner, Ruas would paint directly on the glass of the scanner which allows his images to have depth, detail, texture and more. Rual uses mediums such as oil paints, acrylic paints, collages of papers, juices, gouaches, pens, colored wax, and more. Personally, I am very fond of the art that is presented on this website under Jamie Rual's name. He is a very creative individual that gives a sort of grunge aspect to art. His art sort of reminds me of watercolor graffiti if that was a thing.
