 The scanographer I chose to do some research on is a man by the name of Dale Hoopingarner. He has his own website and his own gallery titled "Bits of Nature." All of his work is arranged by the four seasons of the year. His work gives customers a "taste of the botanical world" as he himself puts it. Dale has always been an admirer of nature his whole life. From boy scouts as a kid, to gardening and kayaking in the present day, he discovered the art of scanography and admired how well it preserved each and every detail of flowers and plants. He says that his work tends to focus more on specimens and the settings of "growing."
