My Scanographs

For my scanographs, I used flowers, my bandana and a skull. My three themes were blossom, death, and identity. 

Research

 Looking through the different scanography artists, there were a few that caught my eye. The first one that really piqued my interest was an artist named Jean-Louis Aubert. His work was very different and it followed the theme of being illustrative. The objects that he used were very unique and interesting to me. Out of all his images, this one spoke to me the most. 

 

The second artist that I really liked was Elena Kropaneva. Her work dealt more with portraits which I thought was really cool.  I really like how fragile and delicate her work looked. It definitely gave me ideas on what I could possibly create.
