Project 4 (Nekeda W)

For my drawing I copied an image from google, cut it out and then used my brush to paint over it into what I wanted. I added the wings using the same technique. I wanted  to go with a halloween vibe.

For all of my collages,I used the same technique of downloading a specific image from google, then cutting, copying and pasting onto my collage to create a better image. I wanted to focus on a specific theme in all my collages and that was black people hair. Usually we correlate black people hair with nappy and I wanted to point that out and changed the perspective that it's more than that. Our hair is more than cool swag, or ghetto, or nappy. It is our identity, a part of who we are.
