Project 5_ Seth Prior

 

For this project I got my friend Ephraim to stand in a walking pose on this road on campus. I had this image in mind to be seen as an advertisement, not an advertisement that is trying to sell a specific shoe or to a specific group of people but instead to just show off the brand with nice scenery and elevate the brand in general. I first messed around with the images coloring after turning it black and white. I changed the hues, certain colors levels, lightness and contrast. After that I went in and got rid of shadows I didn't want like the one of his backpack strap on the back of his left thigh, structures like lamp posts, and little twigs and pebbles I didn't like on the cement with the smudge tool and spot healing brush tool. It was really shocking the things I could get rid of with the spot healing brush, I had no problem getting rid of lamp posts and a sign. 

This was my second image I made. I took a picture of the hallway and some plants I found outside. I then used the magnetic lasso tool to get rid of everything past the doors. I then put the picture of the plants under the layer of the hallways and messed around with colors and contrast. I eventually added a lens flare to make it seem like it had light coming through the top of the plants and erased certain parts of the image of the hall way to make it seem like the plant life was coming in. I blurred the corners and edges to give the center more of a focal point. This wasn't exactly what I was wanting to do but I'm fine with the way it came outfits just that my idea didn't execute the way it was in my head.

This was just something I messed around with. I had the idea thinking about poses I have seen people standing in on this hall and how close they are with little to no interaction.
