I used tools like the selection tool and the lasso tool to cut out specific pieces of the images I wanted to use. I then used the text tool to add text to the image. I liked using photoshop once I got the hang of using the photo side of it. I mostly used photoshop for drawing in the past.
For this piece I tried a style of just drawing without a sketch. I turned out better than the piece with photos given I'm more familiar with drawing than photo editing. I used the brush and eraser tool. I had a Wacom stylus checked out from my animation class so I used the tablet to draw both drawing pieces.
With this last piece I did a sketch first and then I inked it on another layer. I then colored the line work under the inking layer. I feel this was the best out of the pieces because I used techniques I was familiar with in my regular art work. For this I also used the brush and eraser tool.
