Week8_project5+6_EphraimEllis

1: Seth gave me the idea to take a picture of myself twice then have them looking up/down at each other, so I did.

2: I then added a yellow gradient background to replace the sky, and put some ripples that emulate the shape of my body.

3:Then I did the same thing, but to the floor. The ripples now only emulate my feet as well. I added a shadow cause it looks cool, and so that you can tell it is the floor

4: I added an aura around both of me, and put some electric looking things around both heads. The electric things are white and a similar color to the respective aura.

5:I touched it up a little to make it look nice, and added something awesome that you are just gonna have to find yourself ;).

This picture is supposed to show the theme of facing yourself. The aura I added made it look like they were ready to fight, and I utilized complementary colors to make both sides of the picture clash. It shows the duality of man, and how we sometimes get in our own way.

Project 6: Self Struggle

1: I printed out my photoshop. I then printed out pictures of some swords. I was just going to put the swords on there, but it looked weird so I added some funny little guys to hold them. I also decided that they would be coming from the back of the page because I thought that it looked cool. It also helped to support my theme to add these guys since they are facing each other. At this point I did not realize the piece had to be 18x24, so I thought I was done.

2: After being told that I was not done, I decided to add more guys behind the piece to spread it out. They are all drawn in a similar style to show that even though they are connected, there is many distinguishing features. This is also true in the human mind. One persons mind can have millions of sides even though it is only one brain.

3: I added even more guys. I got bored making practically the same thing over and over, so I made some more unique designs. they still fit the theme though since they are still made in the same style with few differences. I like the monkey.
4: I added more guys coming from behind the paper. I did this because it shows that their numbers are potentially limited because you do not know how many are behind the paper. This relates to the them because the amount of sides in a person that are struggling for control are also potentially limitless.
