Project 5+6_IsabellaAmorine

Project 5

These are the three images I took for the project.

After I took my photos I started painting the frogs onto the tree because the artistic vision I had for them couldn't be done from images found on the internet. This was the most fun part!

These are the photoshop edits I made and printed out to go on my board. I rotated the gecko image over the axis and copied it together and I wanted the tree trunk of the frog tree to have both sides so I flipped the image and edited the hole out to make it look like another side completely.

These are a few of the images I found on the internet to cut and glue on my project, the one with the geckos where taken from my original image and duplicated.

Heres my process of trying to find a right way to arrange my images.

After I glued everything down I added a title

This is the final product

Goldenrod Park, Isabella Amorine

Process: I started by going outside and finding a good landscape that would spark ideas. I found a Gecko under a leaf and decided to go with nature and animals and found more subjects like it. Once I had the photos I edited them in photoshop and printed them out. since I couldn't find anymore animals to pair with the photos I decided to find some off the internet and paint some onto the image itself. I painted a scene of a frog family living In a tree hole and they're living room inside. I found some bees and hummingbirds and printed them out. I edited the Gecko off the leaf and duplicated him to add more to the images. After I found more flowers that matched the one I had photographed and added with the rest of the images. And finally, sense most of my images contained yellow, I found some more photos with yellow flowers and a natural background that fit perfectly with the rest of my theme. I cut them all up, some into curvy patterns, and pasted them onto a 24x18 media paper. It was looking a little empty so for a final touch I made a title in photoshop and added it to the top left of my page.

Idea: The idea behind Goldenrod Park is the unity between Flora and Fauna and how they live off of each other. When I went to take my photos for this assignment the first thing I found was a little green Gecko hanging out under a palm leaf. I decided to photograph other environments around campus that where symbiotic with animals. I found a cool tree with a hole on the trunk and decided to paint a little home for frogs that would live in the pond area. I found some yellow flowers around the pond and they where very beautiful so I wanted to use them with hummingbirds and bees. I did some research and found they where called Goldenrod which is a natural herb medication for inflammation and fighting tuberculosis. All of these creatures are native to this part of Georgia and are innocent creatures living in harmony in our environment.
