Project 7&8 Avery Williams

planning to do a lot with the eyes, most for the images I add will be in the eyes. especially the little guy
its been a couple days and I have elected to not do any of that. I want to make the ultimate version of the weird core images I made earlier in the semester.
the main thing that I learned from those projects was that all of the images needed to be the same resolution for it to look even a little bit professional.
the theme word I will be using is "memory"
I want to explore the theme of forgotten childhood memories, as I often find myself forgetting anything and everything before tenth grade. I barely remember my friends, my teachers, my old school... whenever I try to remember, I can only see fuzz and I get frustrated quickly.
I want to translate this into my art by using old photos, hopefully pictures of my ACTUAL old school (if I can find them)
Update: I couldn't find pictures of the inside, but I found one of the outside that was taken before the renovations so it looks the way it did when I went there -yay!! time to get to work lol
edit out name of school on sign, crop out back end of the church and the ramp, make porportosn of sky to building to parking lot less like 3-1-2 and more like 3-2-1
im sending this to my procreate so I can workshop it, photoshop is impossible to brainstorm on its so slow moving :( something could take me thirty minutes in photoshop while in procreate it could be done in a few seconds. I also need to look for old pictures of myself in my ancient camera roll.
snatched some images from the internet because I couldn't find enough old images of my own family. cut them out and insert them into clouds with color but effect
stick it everywhere :)
MEMORY
this was mostly a stress piece- the process of making the mandala was relaxing, and looking through my old pictures was sad, so I wanted the piece to be sorta mournful and eerie. the main image is important to me since its where I want to school.

SECOND PIECE
I wanted to explore my original idea with the bugs, so I started on this
lots of eyes + images on top. I used the overlay effect to make the eyes look 3D even though they have an image on them.
most of the images are from online, but some are mine, like the woman's face in the middle eye.
the first piece represented forgetting memories, this one is corrupted memories. idk why I had so many eyes, I don't have that many memories lol
