TITLE: Eternal View

IDEA: This is my final for project 6. My idea for this came to me when we were taking pictures outside and I saw some enormous and fluffy clouds. The sky always makes me think of the great and unknown. It makes me think of eternity. Eternity is the theme of this piece. The people in the clouds represent souls. I hope when people look at this, they can think with themselves what they believe about life after death and the importance of the temporal versus the eternal.

PROCESS: For this piece, I first took pictures right outside of the art building. I got some pictures of people, the clouds, and flowers. I first configured them on photoshop and then made patterns with the clouds and set it as the background. After that, I traced the roses and put them on top of the clouds as well as the semi-transparent images of people. For the final touches, I added a scanned image of butterfly jewelry I had as well as the rose petals falling away in the breeze.
