For my first photoshop I got inspiration from the movie La La Land. There's a dream-like sequence where they enter a planetarium and float and dance in outer space. I took a screenshot from the movie where the two character's silhouettes are in the sky dancing and I edited it to match the color scheme I wanted. Then I took pictures of clouds that I found and I changed the opacity so it looked more dream-like. I also edited the colors of these. Then I cut out an image of the moon and filtered it as well.
I took this screenshot from the movie which showed the side of the planetarium building that they ent to and I filtered it and cut it out to place in the background of my photoshop.
I forgot to take more screenshots, but I cutout pictures of the characters from the movie and placed them on my photoshop. I took more images of them dancing in the sky from the planetarium and placed them around the dancing silhouette. On the right side I put a screen cap of the Tesla coil from the planetarium in the movie as well because I thought it really matched the theme I was going for. I added more clouds in front of the bigger images of the characters and lowered the opacity as well.
Here is the finished jpg.
I completely forgot to take screenshots for my second photoshop, but here is one I took when I was placing a hand over the camera I had on the photoshop. I wanted two different hands pulling apart the camera so I used a picture of my hand and I asked my boyfriend to send me a picture of his that I used. In this picture I lowered the opacity of the hand so I could see what parts of the hand would go behind the camera so I could erase them, then I turned the opacity back up.
Here is the finished jpg of this photoshop. I specifically chose a picture of a camera that was kind of opened/broken because I wanted it to look like there were things coming out of the camera. I took a picture of a light beam and filtered it and changed the opacity to make it look like the camera was glowing as it was being ripped apart. I then took a picture off of Pinterest of lots of swirling colors and put it behind the rip in the camera that I had cut out. I then hand drew the colorful drips coming out of the camera. I really like the ones I did dripping off of my hand. I knew I wanted the background behind everything to be black and white so it contrasted with the colors I did and didn't take away from anything. I took an image from Pinterest again and placed it behind everything and used the smudge tool to slightly warp it and blur it so the camera and hands were the main focus.
