Project7/8_EthanMietzner
For my first project, I downloaded a photo of an abandoned boat.
I then proceeded to paint over the boat on a new layer using the eye dropper tool to get the right colors of the boat as I painted over it.
Below is the final product of what I worked on. I then filled in the beach and the ocean to make it my own. The title of it is "Forgotten."
For my second project, I wanted to do something more timeless. Therefore, I used the NASA photo of the Pillars of Creation in the Eagle Nebula that the Hubble telescope captured.
I wanted to do something related to America and the brave soldiers that have fought for our country and freedom. I couldn't think of a more picture telling photo than the soldiers raising the flag during World War II.I placed the photo of the soldiers in a new layer above the Nebula photo and erased the outline of the flag and the soldiers bodies. Then I merged both of the layers together.
I then erased the rest of the gray photo and placed it above the photo of the Pillars of Creation. I erased most of the Pillars and filled it in with the Clone Stamp tool. I then stamped some stars to fill in some of the areas I cloned. This is the final piece titled "Remember."
